Girls who took Metformin..........

...........it's been 2 years since I was on it and I just started again 2 weeks ago to TTC #2 so I'm a little rusty on the side effects. I've been up to 1500mg. for a week now with no side effects until today. Today I feel a little queasy but I'm also dizzy too. I feel crummy. Normal to feel dizzy or not? Should I bother calling RE? TIA!

i have been taking it for a few months now so i dont have any side effects anymore. But when i started it the first month was rough i had stomach problems and was nauseus. spread the 3 pills out throughout the day- one with each meal & it should eventually get better.

Thanks! I do already spread them out. I take them after each meal. Called the RE. They said it's common and if the symptoms don't subside they would cut the dosage for a few days. I've been good since 3:00 today so hopefully it was just a passing thing.

I used to get dizzy around 2pm, but it has since gone away, btu did last almost a month. Now all I have is stomach issues, but I like carbs and the Met. doesn't! Oh well

I never got dizzy but my stomach did not like it at first. Now I am pretty much used to it. I only really have issueif I have a lot of carbs.
