girls who work for small companies in NYC - maternity leave policies
ok im meeting with my bosses in the next two weeks to go over maternity policy. my company doesnt have one yet - we are a new startup company.
i asked my HR rep to give me some sample policies so i knew i had an idea of what was and wasn't realistic. but she didn't give me much.
so i need your help!
if you work for a small company in NYC please post what your company's maternity policy is like so that i have some ideas!

ours is 8 weeks short term disability. so we get 60% of pay for 8 weeks. personally i think it sucks and hope to try and negotiate a better deal
