Girls who workout—what do you do for lower abs?
I am addicted to doing crunches and using the Ab Lounger and I feel like I'm really seeing results in my upper abdominals, but I'm getting nowhere with my lower abs! Does it just take longer or is there a great exercise to target just the lower abs? Help! What do you do?

I love the ab roller. It defines the upper and lower abs for me.

I don't know what they are called
you sit with you butt on the bench- lean back and move your bended legs towards you
????? does that make sense
mean while I am doing them at my desk trying to think of a way to explain it to you-

So does that mean you are propped up on your elbows? Legs kind of elevated and bend your knees as your bring your legs towards you? Like could I do this on the floor?

you hand go behind you the bench- or floor ( I think you can do them on the floor)
does that make sense- i wish I could demo

are you laying flat on the incline bench holding on to the bar behind you and moving your legs up and down? i do those.
i also hang with my arms resting on those bar things on either side (no clue what its called) and lift my legs up towards my chest.

My mom taught me this lower abs excerise but it takes 2 people for it you lay on the floor hold on to your Dh/mom/sister ankles lift your legs all the way up and the person you are holding the ankles on with hit your feet back down do that as much as you can than just do regular crunches too!
