Glass tile fireplaces??? Advice
Has anyone tiled over the brick with glass tile? We are thinking of doing this because we found cheap glass tile that we love. But I was thinking what happens to the grout if you light the fireplace? Does anyone have experience with this?

the only thing i have heard about glass tile is if its not installed correctly it will crack. My BIL who is in construction says usually when the seasons hit its peak (cold and hot) the glass has a tendency to crack if not put in correctly. This is definitely not a DIY item, even my BIL will not install them because he has not done enough jobs with them to feel comfortable.
