Glasses
We just found out my ds needs glasses. We took him to the eye dr. My question is when we go for his next pair of glasses (entitled to one a yr) do we just take him to the Dr at the eye glass place or should we go back to the Dr? What's the difference?

Re: Glasses
My son wears glasses. I take him to the dr who diagnosed him every year. I like her and she knows my kid so we are comfortable there.
I don't think it matters which dr your child sees, as long as they check his eyes and confirm his prescription is correct.

Re: Glasses
As an adult I would say it doesn't matter if all you need is a script. But for kids if it isn't right your DC could have headaches, not see the board correctly. I would go to the pediatric opthomologist who is used to dealing with kids.

Re: Glasses
Both my boys wear glasses. I took them to Cohen's the most recent time because they had a special on eye exams. I got the prescription there and then bought their glasses through Zenni (savings).
I got Noah a second pair through Coastal (1st Pair free) - so they each have 2 pairs now and I saved a lot of money!
I assume that the Rx has been correct for both because each sees much better and neither have suffered any ill effects.
