Glucose results question

So I did the test Tuesday night, doc said they'd have results the next day ... I haven't heard from them.

Can I assume if I failed they would have called right away to schedule the three hour?


I guess I'll call later but just wondering what the norm is ... ie: did most people get a call pass or fail.

I had assumed when I hadn't heard 3 days later that I had passed. I had called my doctors office on an unrelated question and asked them about the results. They checked my chart and told me I had FAILED. I was so taken by suprise because when I hadn't heard from them I had assumed that I had passed. I'm sure that isn't the norm and is more just a result of my Dr.'s office dropping the ball though. Good Luck!

My doctor's office said I would hear within 24-48 hours if I failed. I did not get a call saying I passed; they just waited until my next appt to tell me.

I hope you passed! But for me, I had to call to find out, and the news was bad. So, I suppose it could go either way!

My Dr. said they wouldnt call if i passed, and that i'd hear from them within the week if i failed. I took the test on a tuesday and had a message the following monday to call them back re: lab results. Of course i completely started freaking out- turns out that i was just severly anemic and they wanted me to take an iron pill.... they also confirmed in that call that i passed. So, technically i heard from them re: passing, but it was really only b/c of the iron thing that they called.
