Glucose test today
I have my glucose test tonight at 6:30..
I haven't eaten anything today besides yogurt.
Some say to fast, my doctor said not to.
What should I eat or avoid the rest of the day?

I was told that I didn't need to fast for the 1 hour test. I didn't and I failed. The 3 hour test I fasted 12 hours and passed. I would avoid sugar as much as you can. Maybe have a grilled ckn salad with oil and vinegar for lunch with water? Good luck tonight!

Good luck!!  I had my test first thing in the morning and the lab (and my OB) told me to fast. Call the lab and see what they say. Maybe they can tell you what is ok to nibble on today without it affecting the results.

I just did mine yesterday. I did it in the morning, my doctor told I didn't have to fast for it. All I ate was a little cereal before going.
