Gluten free folks

What are your go to meals either to keep on hand or for quick take out? I guess looking for suggestions on fast food, take out, freezer type things for when I need a last minute dinner. Thanks!

Gluten free folks

Aldis supermarket has their own GF brand called Live G Free, really good... they have frozen meals, lazagna, ravioli, pizza... so far ive only had the ravioli it was very good.

Chinese is our go to take out.

Love aldi's but I haven't seen the frozen meals. I'll have to look for those.

What chinese do you order that's typically safe? I figured with the soy sauce it would be next to impossible.

Chinese is our go to take out also. Panera seems to be our "fast food" option.

Things we always have on hand in either freezer or refrigerator:
Steaks, chopped meat, chicken breast, pork chops.

Tonight we're doing steak with arugula salad and lemon dressing.

We do taco salads a lot. So its just chopped meat with taco seasoning (we make our own and I make a bunch and keep it in the cabinet.) Guacamole, salsa, cheese (optional) over romaine lettuce.

I'm not a huge fan of the gluten free versions of items that aren't suppose to be gluten free, I find them super expensive and never taste that good. That being said Trader Joe's Organic Brown Rice & Quinoa Fusilli Pasta is delicious.

For the chicken breasts we marinate them in pesto sauce and throw them on the grill with a little lemon.

Pork chops I just marinate in maple syrup, mustard, avocado oil, crushed garlic and black pepper and cook them in pan (depending on the thickness they can go in the oven after browning too)

We like homemade pizza. There are a few GF pizza crust kits you can buy and pillsbury just started selling tubs of gf pizza dough near the biscuits. It's not as good as the mixes but it's faster. We usually have some sort of leftover chicken or we grill veggies to add to the pizza.

We also love taco salad or steak over salad

Also GF ground turkey or ground chicken in tomato sauce over quinoa pasta, it's a fast meal. If I have a little more time I'll make it over spagetti squash.

I make an Asian stir fry usually with chicken or tofu, bok choy and other veggies and GF rice noodles with garlic and sriricha sauce instead of soy or teriyaki.

We do a lot of zucchini "noodles" too. Its just shredded or really thinly sliced with a mandolin slicer or one of the spirlers from BBB. I saute garlic and pepper in some oil and then toss with the zucchini. Takes 10 minutes, if that and its really tasty.

Gluten free folks

Sushi (buy tamari soy sauce it is gluten free)
Thai take out- many gluten free options just check with the chef
Domino's gluten free pizza (surprisingly good)

Udi's frozen pizza
Amy's organic frozen meals has many gluten free options
Quinoa with black beans and mushrooms
Trader Joe's rice pasta

I used to use the app "find me GF" and it locates the restaurants near you that have GF options. Not sure where you live but there is a Chinese restaurant in Manhasset that can do all of its dishes with GF soy sauce - the only thing they don't have GF is their noodle/Lo Mein dishes

Like a pp mentioned, I would make stirfrys and just use GF soy sauce as a substitute (and watch out for Hoisin as well, I was able to find a GF Hoisin which I used). I ate lots of rotisserie chickens, rice, beans as well.
