Try a different church. ... at my church all they asked was their name and if they were Catholic... st. Gerard Majella In port jeff

Can you just tell the church that they were confirmed? I hate to suggest that you lie, but if I were in your situation, I would just say they were.

Godparents...
My dd was baptized at St. Elizabeth's. I asked what proof was needed as I knew one of my dd god parents was not confirmed, they said none.

We needed proof. Our god parents had to get a letter signed from their own church stating that they are practicing catholics. (OLPH in lindenhurst)
