going back to work question

so...i go back to work mid-december...I was working 5 days, full time.
now my plan is to go back 4 days a week- but full days. Besides me wanting to be home that one day a week, we do not have someone to watch the baby that one day and i'm not putting him in daycare for a day.
(We are fortunate to have our parents helping us the other days)
How do I approach my boss with this? I plan to go visit with my ds sometime in November and talk to my boss then.
There are several girls in my office that came back to work part time after having a baby...but my position is a full time position..

I dont know if i tell her- I can only come back 4 days....i just dont know how to bring it up...and i need my job..

any advice would be appreciated!!

You know your office better than anyone else. I am sure you know your boss and the right way to approach her.

I know it is intimidating to do, but you need to do what is best for your family
