Going for 8 week appointment today UPDATE
Wish me luck!
UPDATE:
So I went today for sono. NP said baby looked great, HB was strong and fast and I was measuring exactly 8 weeks. But, I was hit with the news that I have a tiny hematoma (blood clot) in the chorion as per my first sono with my high risk dr. This was a surprise to me bc when I had the first sono @ 6 weeks, I wasnt told this and they said everything was fine. So I am a little confused, but the NP told me not to worry that sometimes they dissolve ont heir own, but I cant help but gets nuts bc I have a known clotting D/O that they found preTTC in which I take a baby ASA for.
SO I guess I am very happy the baby was doing great, but upset that i have this clot.
I have to follow up with the high risk dr in about a week.

I wish you lots of luck. Question since you mention a clotting D/O, did your doctor ever discuss a heparin like Lovenox? I ask b/c I too have multiple clotting issues and I was on it for my pregnancy with DD and will be in the future as well. I took Aspirin too in addition to it. It worked very well. It won't dissolve a clot, but I was surprised that since they knew your history of it that they didn't give you a script. There are a few of us on here that do the Lovenox shots during pregnancy. Hopefully the clot will go away.

i had a small hematoma as well, and it wasnt seen on my 8 week sono but was caught on my 12 week, they do normally dissolve on their own..and theyre very common..min was gone by the time i had another sono at 15 or 16 weeks! Congrats on the baby!!

I have one too...I have been spotting now from 5 1/2 weeks until now at 13 1/2 weeks. Try not to worry...easier said than done!

I had a pretty big one too and it was reabsorbed by about 14 weeks... I wasn't allowed to do any heavy lifting or anything,but besides that, it was fine. Good luck!!
