Going for my 1st ultrascreen today.

What should I be expecting?

Im soooooooooo hoping that they can take an "educated guess" as to what Im having!!!!!! I cant wait! Do you really think they'll shoot me down if I ask them to guess?

it can't hurt to ask but my baby was sooo uncooperative - he/she slept the whole time!! how far along are you?

they might be able to see something... i have heard that drinking juice or eating something sugary will help baby be more active. it can't hurt!!

at my ultrascreen the sono lasted 10-15 minutes, the tech checked everything out and took some measurements, and that was it. it was soooo cool! have a great time!

They do a very detailed sonogram and take lots of measurements of the baby!

Good luck and enjoy it! There was such a huge difference from our 8 week sono to the ultrascreen!

I don't know if they can take an educated guess as far as gender is concerned, I mean, I guess you can ask, but I don't think they can tell you anything definite.
