Going for my IUI on Friday and Saturday
Not sure why...but they are inseminating for 2 days. Have to take the ovidrel tonight. When I went for the sono yesterday I saw 5 follicles which I hope is a good number and then hoping that DH's little swimmers cooperate also.
How long does the actual procedure take and will I be able to drive myself home?

My RE also does back to back IUI's. The procedure itself is very quick, you'll definately be able to drive yourself home afterwards. IMO a PAP is more uncomfortable than an IUI. To me this most uncomfortable part is the speculum.

The procedure itself only takes a few minutes. But at my place it takes about an hour to prepare the sample.

The procedure itself is over in no time...the waiting is the worst part.
You can definitely drive yourself home after - I used to go to work afterwards.

My docs do back to back IUIs too. The whole procedure is less uncomfy than a pap smear IMO. You will be fine. Good luck!
