Going on plane with kids/carry on/ etc
can you tell me what were you able to take to gate stroller etc. was it difficult flying? thanks for any advice

we took our Maclaren and it was very easy...they took it right as we were boarding, and then it was there waiting for us as we were walking off the plane.

I have taken my BOB Duallie to the gate - no problems - size doesn't matter.
For our next trip, we're not taking a stroller, so I think that I'm going to bring the carseats to the gate so I don't have to pay the $15/each to check them at the counter.

We went to fl last year with 2 kids and gate checked 2 strollers and brought 1 car seat onto the airplane. It was tough carrying all that plus the 2 carry ons and a diaper bag, but it was worth it.

We were able to gate check our carseat and stroller (DS was a lapchild so he didn't have his own seat) for free.

did the same thing. We got a cover for the Maclaren too just to protect it.
