Going Rate for Babysitter
What's the going rate for a babysitter with:
1. years of experience with infants and toddlers
2. she's in her 30s
3. trusted person and known for several years.
My DH and I have never paid for babysitting, so we have no idea what is the normal rate for someone with a similar babysitter.
And she'll be watching two children; our DD who is 6 months and DS who is 2 1/2 years old.

i pay our housekeeper/nanny who is an older woman 12/hour for one toddler

My DH was thinking $15, so if you pay $12 for one child, I guess we are in the ballpark.
