Going to get my Rhogam shot in a little while.
It's that time again. I'm assuming I will get it in my rear since that is where I got it for my first pregnancy. Although, this time I am 30 weeks where as I was 28 weeks last time.
Have any of you ladies got it at 30 weeks?

I'm getting mine at 27 weeks - but I have to get the vial mailed to me (my insurance will only cover it if it is mail ordered) I mentioned it to my doctor that I might not have it in time for my 27 week appt and he said no problem.

Re: Going to get my Rhogam shot in a little while.
Rhogam shots are for the RH factor. If the mom has negative blood and the father has positive blood, the Rhogam shot is taken as a precaution. Positive blood is more common than negative blood and if the baby has positive blood, my blood wont be compatible with it. (not a very scientific explanation - but you get the general idea.)
If you know your blood type and are 0,A,B or AB- mention it to your doc. If you dont know your blood type, when they do genetic testing or blood work, they'll check your bloodtype.
The shot is given in the 3rd trimester.

I got one at 6 weeks and one at 21 for spotting. I should be covered until 33 weeks and then I'll have to get another one.

I got it at 9 weeks & I am scheduled to get it again at 25 weeks. I got it in the arm. I have this "issue" with getting shots in places that I cannot see.
