Going to interview a few childcare office. What ??? should i ask.

I am thinking about putting Ds in daycare 2 days a week. My MIL is watching him 2 days and its jsut not working out.

Anyway what should I ask? and what should i look out for?

When I went, I basically just went with my gut on things. Is the place clean, dirty? How do they organize your DC's things? Some places had their cups/bottles/snacks in separate bins where others had them all thrown in one basket. Also, some places serve food and for me, I wanted to know if it was organic or not. Look at the staff. Some places had people who barely spoke English well and others that had what looked to be teenagers. For me, I want the best, so I used a place that I was very happy with.
