going to PA for 4 days with a 9-month-old

i know the basics, but if you took a short trip with your infant, what were some items that you were SO glad you brought?

and were there any items you found you didn't need at all?

space is not an issue.

I've only gone overnight so far. But I needed (some are common sense but i'll list them anyway):

-tons of diapers
-wipes
-Tylenol
-teething tablets
-numerous change of clothes
-monitor (DS was sleeping in another room)
-bouncer
-summer infant seat (like a bumbo)
-lots of small toys- they were easy to transport and really kept DS occupied

DS was only a few months old but these helped greatly.

Good question. I'm probably flying down to SC with my DD who will only be 8 months at the time. Should be interesting.

We went to MD for 3 days when she was 7 months old. We took her stroller, pack and play, a bag of her favorite toys to play with, toys for the car ride, baby food and formula, lots of diapers and wipes, and clothes. She did great with the car trip and everything went fine! Have a great trip!!
