Good and inexpensive Convertible car seat

I need one for my sister's car for the occasional times she helps out and picks up DD from the babysitter.

Any recommendations?

I agree, but I am pretty sure that it is only a forward facing seatChat Icon

I remember it being rear facing too, we didn't end up getting it so i'm not 100% sure but we only looked at rear facing seats.

ETA: Just looked it up, it is rear facing until 35 lbs and forward til 40.

I guess mine is an older model? Tho still on the website, the description is as follows

• Forward-facing 22-40 lbs, belt-positioning booster 40-80 lbs
• 5-point harness with up-front adjustment
• Removable cup holder
• 2-position shoulder belt guides
• LATCH equipped
• Meets or exceeds Federal and ASTM Safety Standards

This is the one we boght for DH car and it goes rear facing.

I'm not loving the install though - I feel like we must have done something wrong b/c it doesn't feel secure (haven't had to use it yet though.)

The link above is the one I have. It is a convertible carseat so it can go forward or rear facing.

Re: Good and inexpensive Convertible car seat

Scenera is RF or FF but can be a PITA to install RF without LATCH. Kmart sometimes has them for 39.
