good books for 3 year old?
my dd has always loved books but now is into real stories instead of just the sight and see books or the books that are pointless short stories. she likes for us to read to her and then she "reads" it to us.
any recs for good fun books?

My 3yo DD's favorite book is The Napping House. She loves to "read" along with us. At this point she has is memorized. Pinkalicious is another favorite.

Planting a rainbow
The monster at the end of this book
Madeline
The day the crayons quit
Dd likes a lot of the little golden books too like tinker bell, Peter pan, frozen, etc.

DS loves The Day the Crayons Quit and The Day the Crayons Came Home.
We also have a big Dr Seuss book of about 10 of his books, so he loves picking one out to read at night.

good books for 3 year old?
My DD has been loving Beth Sterns books Yoda and Yoda gets a buddy...
Both books has cute illustrations, its about cats. BUT the great part is it has a great STORY with GREAT meaning that my dd has picked up on. We read it every night still!

We like the Little Golden books...they have short versions of Disney stories, classics and others that take about 5 mins to read. They are $2-3 on Amazon.

As other mentioned Pinkalicious and Fancy Nancy books are favorites. My DDs also like:
Skippyjon Jones books (include some spanish)
Max and Ruby books
Berenstain Bear books
Peppa Pig books
Corduroy books

Dd loves Rainbow Fish, Llama llama red pajama, Madeline and all the other Madeline books, Library Lion, Pete the cat, the kissing hand, I could go on... dd loves books

My 3 year old love the step 1 and step 2 books at Barnes and Noble - they have them in so many different characters/stories
They also have them at our public library
