I make this in my restaurant all of the time. I also make it with a crushed graham cracker rim. People go nuts.

Here are a few additional drinks:
Specialty Drinks

New Years Eve
Cognac, orange juice, champagne, cherry garnish

Cran-Apple Cobbler
Cranberry Vodka, apple cider and Graham cracker rim

Butterscotch Slide
Caramel swirl up martini glass, irish cream, coffee liquor, butterscotch liquor

Coconut Mojito
Coconut rum, lime, mint, toasted coconut rim

Rockefeller Center
Alize Wild Passion and Prosecco

Green Apple Martini
Grey Goose Vodka, Cointreau and Sour apple

PrettyGirl
Alize Red passion, Absolut Raspberry, cranberry juice

Re: Good cocktails for new years?

I had a great drink the other night but non alcoholic due to pregnancy. But the barender does make it with alcohol normally.
It's called Simply Delicious

Ginger Ale
Grapefriut juice
a splash of Lime juice
Vanilla Vodka
I can't wait to try it with alcohol!

Target has these great buckets and all you have to do is add the vodka and put them in the freezer. We had the Winter Berry Cosmo - TO DIE FOR!!!

Last NYE we did that pomegranate Martini recipe that Oprah had on. It was really good, I'll go see if I can find it.

ETS- Found it:

Oprah's Pomegranate Martini
Recipe courtesy of Oprah Winfrey
From the show Oprah and Rachael Ray
Throw a Holiday Party
Serves 2

Printer-Friendly Version Review This Recipe

Oprah loves martinis—and this is one of her favorites!

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups pomegranate juice
2 oz. Absolute Citron vodka OR white tequila
1 oz. Cointreau liquor
Cup of ice
Optional: Splash of sparkling water
Optional: Squeeze of lemon

Shake ingredients in a shaker and put in chilled martini glasses. Put pomegranate fruit into glass as garnish.

* For more information about Rachael Ray, visit www.rachaelrayshow.com.

Found more: and a great site-

Bellini
1 ounce white peach puree
5 ounces chilled champagne

Pour peach puree into a champagne flute, then add champagne. The peach puree can either be made from ripe fresh peaches that have been peeled, or you can use a commercial peach puree.
For the Peach Puree, the product I recommend is "White Peach Puree" offered by The Perfect Puree Company of Napa Valley.

Re: Good cocktails for new years?

The coconut mojito is the BEST, bc it is sooo smooth (which could run you into problems bc they go down fast!!!) I would use toasted coconut on the rim (DRY COCONUT TOO) just dont use wet, bc it gets messy. Yummy!

How many parts of each did you use to make this drink? Also to get the graham cracker rim what do you do...just wet the glass?
