Good Flank Steak Recipe?
When I did Super Suppers in September, i did a flank steak--I just put a rub on it, and have the directions to cook it.
however, i now rather put it in the crock pot, or some other kind of delicious dish
Please give me your recipes!
Thanks!

Re: Good Flank Steak Recipe?
I posted this in July.....
WOW! This has to be my all time best concoction ever.
1 flank steak, beaten to tenderize 12 oz jar artichoke hearts 12 oz jar roasted peppers block feta cheese fresh spinach garlic
Put all the ingredients in the center of the steak, folding steak over to close it. Tie it shut with the ties you get on lamb and roasts. Place open side down (mine did not close all the way because I had so much stuff in it). Bake 350 for one hour. Slice about 1" thick.
I seved it with tomatoes that the tops were sliced off, slightly scoop out the insides. I put about 1-2 tbls (depending on the size of the tomato) pesto sauce and gorgonzola cheese. Baked for about 20-30 minutes until the cheese started to brown.
Holy goodness did I get rave compliments from the ILs and DH.

I've never cooked flank steak in a crock pot. But, you can marinate your steak in Italian dressing for a few hours or over night and transfer it to your crockpot. I would put some water (about a cup) so that the steak could steam.

Marinate it in French Dressing. I know sounds so weird but it is completely yummy. DH was horrified that I poured the bottle in the ziplock with the steak and almost refused to eat it, but he relented and was amazed at how good it was.
