good morning early birds! what are we doing up so early? who is awake?
i called it! for some reason i cant seem to get out of bed on the weekday. but come the weekend, i am up at 730am!
i hate this! i would love to sleep in late but i cant go back to bed!
who else is awake?

that sucks. i sleep well during the night.. buti think we need to invest in curtains that block out the sun b/c once i get up in the morning, i cant go back to sleep.
in the very beginning of my pregnancy i would wake up at 630am on the weekends!!

This is EXACTLY my problem. The internal clock during the weekend is killing me!

DH was up early hitting the alarm clock over and over because he had to go to work. Then my dogs were both up wild and crazy. I am just lounging in bed on the lap top watching the news, but I am getting up soon. I have to get an oil change and I promised my MIL I'd go to one of the baby stores and do my registry today.

exactly!!!! trust me, we are trying to make the most of our weekends- like just doing nothing...sleeping in late.
and i really do want to sleep late on the weekends but somehow i am wide awake and then when its time for work, i always feel like i could sleep another hour...

Good Morning! I'm up b/c my 18 month old dd has been up almost all night - UGH!!!
we were up from 10:30-2:30am, then went back to sleep until 5:45. Poor thing has a cold and can't breathe.
Needless to say, I'm exhausted....

I was up at 6:30am because all of a sudden my Boston Terrier has a weak bladder and needed to go out!!!!!!!!
Meanwhile DS is still sleeping and I could have been too

Same here. I've been up since 7. I woke up once or twice, but was able to fall back asleep, which is very rare. I'm usually up for several hours in the middle of the night. It sucks.

the last several days, my last 'overnight' pee break is at 6am.... and then I can't fall back asleep!
I usually lay around until 7am and then get-up becuase that's our standard AM rise time during the week
it stinks though, becuase I only fall asleep at around 130AM

all of those cramps I was experiencing went away on thursday and haven't come back!
my only positive signs (if you can call them that) are weight stabilization (I gained nothing last week!), and my cervix being dilated a measly 1cm and 'slightly effaced'.
Unlike Kristen, I think I'm sticking around a while longer

Boo! Well, maybe the cramps stopping is the calm before the storm! Congrats on the 1cm dilation!! Are you still working everyday? If you are, I guess it's more convenient since you'd already be at SB... Stay off your feet as much as you can though! Let the rookies run their experiments!

I was up at 8am bc i had to pee and couldnt fall back to sleep
So i cleaned up a bit, had breakfast, and soon i will sit down to do planning for school. YUCKO-O!!!!

yeah, problem is, that's a recipe for disaster! I have to do the 'real' experiments. I spent the entire day yesterday refreshing the memory of my undergrad on how NOT to contaminate the entire lab and hallway with trace levels of radioactivity . unfortunately, he'll have no more oversight (other than when he's in DH's lab downstairs) once I'm out on leave.
well, I guess every mama bird has to let her baby bird go sometime! he has been my student for over 2 years.. I hope he'll be fine on his own. I told him DH will be downstairs any time he needs him.
yep, still at work every day, but doing less and less each day. Still have a lot of slides to make, but that's it
