good news...the bfing this working!!!(thanks to everyone!! and my secret "tip")
dd is not completely off supplements yet - yesterday she took 3 oz total of a mmix of bm and formula and today 1 oz so far...but i have been sticking it out and we are getting there.....I was feeding dd yesterday when dd came home and he was amazed....honestly, all the advice everyone gave has been so helpful and inspiring...she had major nipple confusion afte rmy whilrwind supplements this past weekend but its getting there...
my friend also had great advice for me (she had spent time in austrailia with her dd bfing and they are super suportive there so she was very knowledgeable)...to nurse her when she isn't hungry....ie - just pick her up and give her a little at a time so all yesterday i did just that and when she would get frustrated, i would give her the pacifier (I know, not the best but its not fair to cut her off completely either imho..) to calm her, wait for her to be ready and try again...last night i completely nursed her and she slept her usual 5 1/2 hr stint..
i know its stupid to be so excited but she went from 12 oz or more a day including some all bottle feeidngs to only 3 oz. - and it gives me hope - i was distraught just a few days ago and now i feel like I can and will do it...i think its harder b/c dd#1 neevr had problems at all and was great at it versus Kristina who sturggled and still does at times....
anyway, thank you to all who offered support and/or advice...it means alot - i know sometimes we tend to read posts and not reply but to all who have replied to my pleas, vents, etc. (or even just read them!) THANK YOU!!!

It's so so so so so so hard in the beginning, but after you stick it out for a while it gets better and better!!!! After 8 weeks, it's smooth sailing....
