Good restaurant in Syosset/ Plainview area? Family friendly
Any suggestions?. I haven't lived there in so long I have no idea anymore. Nothing too fancy or stuffy...family friendly.

how not fancy are you going for? There's dirty burger in Plainview that is very family friendly but it's just a little nicer than your average burger joint

I'm not looking for a steakhouse or date night type place. But it can be a nice place

Are you looking for kid friendly? or adults?
My 5 year old DD and us. She's good in nice restaurants just didn't want an overly fancy place

Bad huh?
Went there twice. First time was ok. Second time disaster. Was a Saturday night and we were packed in like sardines. Took forever to get our food and when we did it was gross. The couple next to us ordered a burger, waited forever and finally got it it was barely cooked. Sent it back, same thing. They finally just asked for the check and left. Chatted with them a little and they were not happy. Wouldn't go bad.
Fast fwd to couple nights later. Was in temple and overheard people talking about how their food was so rare the cow was still mooing and one of them even got sick.
Pj clarkes would be the way to go.

If I had seen this post earlier, that's the place I would have recommended. We go to the original one in Commack all the time and the food is just as good at the /woodbury location.

Definitely Morissons!!!! So good, reasonable and kid friendly. Other options include Chris & Tonys, Buteras, or Testerossa (fancier) or Galangal (thai)
