Good Restaurants for Anniversary
Our 12th anniversary is in 2 weeks today and we would like to go out without the kids. I have been looking for something nice and not sure where to go! My dh does not eat seafood and alot of the nice places around mostly have that. I was looking at Ciao Baby but I have heard reviews that it is very noisy. Help!! Thanks so much.

Re: Good Restaurants for Anniversary
I LOVE LaCasa in Miller Place in the Stop& Shop center on 25A. Its not the most romantic food but its much better than mama lombardi's and no wait. Plus, 2 beers, 2 dinners cost less then $35 when we went.
Its a pizza place on one side then a nice big italian villa'esque dining room on the other.
Dockside has a deel with Theater 3 in Pt. Jeff, you start at Dockside for appitizer and main course, then see the show, then go back for dinner.
Airport Playhouse has a similar deal with some places too, its in their playbill. The person at the theater didn't know of anything when I got the tickets.
Cafe Joelle is nice in sayville, so is collins and main- but very $$$. Cafe Joelle is owned by the same people as Pasta Pasta in Pt. Jeff.
This is a nice, romantic place (small/intimate) DH and I went here once, a little far from Holbrook but we made the same trip - www.rosecottage348.com its in Amityville. Basically, take Rt 110 south to Montauk Hwy or whatever it is there and make a left, its not far down on the left.

In Hauppague: The Grill Room on Adams Ave-food is awesome has a NYC lounge feel to it
Butterfields-right off Motor Parkway, Nice place with a big bar and separate dining room. Food is excellent a little pricey.
Kind of far for you but my favorite restaurant right now is Cassis in Huntington. The food is awesome, prices are good-french bistro

I LOVE Cassis!!! When we were in Paris we ran around so much that we never got to a "good" restaurant, so when we got home I took DH there and he loved it - and was bummed we hadn't made the effort to go to a nice restuarant in Paris! Now he even eats escargot!

OMG I love the pate they give you there. FI tipped one of the busboys there 20 bucks to kmeep bringing it and bread(thats why I can only go there like once a month!) Try the salmon there it is great. Acyually everything is great. They alsxo have a nice brunch on Sundays. My only complaint that it is small/crowded.

It's a cool enviornment. VERY noisy on the weekends. Food is very sweet, it's a Hawaiian menu, so pretty much everything they cook has pineapple & coconut in it.

I think Thai food is spicier than traditional chinese but I'm not 100% sure.
