good thoughts for my friend please
hi!
I don't post too much on here because i'm not a mom yet, but thought i could ask for some thoughts/prayers for my frend and her unborn baby...
she is about 13 weeks pregnant, and has severe hyperemesis. she hasn't been able to eat anything solid since december! :-O she is on IV nutrition for her and the baby, has a PICC line in her veins for anitnausea meds ( shes on the same ones they give to chemo patients!!) and she has a visiiting nurse coming to her house to check on her. shes been getting weekly ultrasounds, and so far everything looks ok with the baby and it looks like its growing well.... but i just feel SO bad for her that shes having such a rough time! they say it could last until 20 weeks- so she could have another 7 weeks of this!
i just feel bad for her, and was hoping you guys could send some good thoughts her way that she can get through this, and that the baby continues to be ok. also, if anybodys been through something like this and has any suggestions for how i can help her, that would be great!
