I just wanted to say thank you again for all of your support and encouragement over the past few months of contest prep!
My first fitness show was on Saturday. I trained to enter the "Best body" division only and then on Thursday the promoter of the show convinced me to compete in the "Figure" division as well. Figure is the type of physique I really want but I never thought I could have enough muscle or get lean enough to try. I was super nervous about it since I hadnt practiced the posing or anything at all. They ended up placing me in the Open Short class rather than Novice which I was bummed about since the Open division is for women who have won contests before and I never had even done a competition! sadly, it hink I would have placed better in the novice division but the promoter thought this was where I should have been. It was still an experience. I ended up placing 3rd for best body and 4th for figure. The placing really doesnt mean much tom e...I just wanted to go through the process of training and getting into the best shape I possibly could!
I learned a ton about myself and about the sport of bodybuilding and am excited to continue the process. I am looking forward to doing another show either over the summer or in september! Thank you again for all of your support and love. It really means a lot!

Congrats on completing your first competition. It is great that you placed in both groups even if it was not your main motivation. I would love to see pictures!
