Got my NY Cares letter (to send a gift to a less fortunate child)
A 9 yr old girl wants "A winnie the Pooh diary, and that's all".
I will send her something extra. How sad, these children don't have much!!

One wants Dragon Balls

He probably means toys related to Dragonball Z or Dragonball GT...it's an anime show on Cartoon Network. DH used to love it!

We do this every year for my school.
I have to be honest, I only started doing it regularly one year when I broke up with a guy right before the holidays. I took the money I would have spent on him and fufilled a needy child's Santa wish list. It took a negative and really turned it into a positive and I've continued to do it ever since.
 To all of those that fulfill these wishes.

we always do this...last yr i was afraid we'd miss the deadline so i called and delivered the gifts myself to the center and it was the best exp.....we even went back for easter and brtought some stuff for a party they have!
