Got my Viacord box in the mail yesterday...

I know, I wasnt planning on taking a big bag this time.. and this box took up my entire bag!! I just hope to remember to put on the bracelet when I start labor and remind dh to make the phone call.. soo much to remember.

Bracelet? They didn't mention a bracelet.
Oy vey...
I thought it really was a matter of signing up, and bringing the kit initially. I wasn't planning on shouldering all the responsibility of ensuring the kit is collected, etc.

I got the bracelets when they sent the documents that you had to sign before getting the collection box.

You didn't get a bracelet?? They sent 2- one for me (looks like a hospital bracelet) and one for DH (rubber-like a livestrong bracelet). They have the # to call and will act as a reminder!! I'd call and ask for them
And you'll be fine!! I left it as DH's responsibility!! We have too much other stuff to think about

Maybe cause I just called on Monday, and got the box yesterday.... but the guy didn't mention it on the phone. Just to call on the way to the hospital (yeah, right), then after I deliver to have the courier come and pick up the kit.
I didn't even look at the paperwork that came with it yet.

the bracelets i think are just a reminder for dh to call and it has # on it so they have it right away.. and for the hospital to know that we want the cord blood saved.

Ok-- just checked my mail and I have another envelope from them-- this with the bracelets. It's the same info that came with the kit-- I probably had my kit expedited because my DD is two weeks away.

I had DH put the box on the table with my chart in L&D so we wouldn't forget. He also called and arranged the courier while I was waiting to be transferred to my room.

how long did it take to get once you filled out all the info???
i am too late to get it - due feb 2nd - being monitored and on bedrest, so i dont know if i will go earlier..
im having second thoughts - i should have gotten it??
can one of you FM me how much $ it was and any info on the package???
