Got myself into a pickle
So my mom is the most awesomest lady around,and she is single--50...so a man I know just got out of a relationship that he was in for quite some time and was complaining about horrible dates he has lately..so i got this brilliant idea to mention my mom to him...long story short him and my mom have a date for next weekend..and i come to find out--from him about this date he went on last nite that went so great and blah blah..and um ur telling me this why?! do i say something to my mom now...mad at myself for even getting involved and my mom is too awesome to date sucha "playboy" as hes coming off now! grrrr

Oooo....maybe you might just want to fill her in and let her know that he is dating other women at the moment. Who knows...after this date with your mom, he might forget all about what's her face!

tell her and let her make up her mind. Maybe she just wants to go out and have a good time. I know you're trying to protect her, but she's a big girl.
Tell this guy not to fill you in anymore since he will be "dating" your mom.

I might mention to your mom that he went out on another date... but I don't see the big deal. He's clearly single and dating. I don't think he should have waited to go out on a date with your mom first before going out on any others.
Honestly, I met my husband on a Saturday night (our first date) and I went out with someone else on a first date the night before... I don't think that's the worst thing ever.
I'd mention "Just so you know, I think he did have another date last week" -- but other than that, let them have their date and see what happens.
