gotta love modern medicine... UPDATED WITH MEDS
i suffer from severe seasonal allergies.
i won't bore you with the details of this past weekend and how i would have preferred death to what i was going through...
i went to the pharmacy, this morning, before going to work. the pharmacist gave me something different.
i am human again... but i'm also as high as a kite!!
going to be an interesting day!

i used to take claritin d... or the generic for it
lately, it just wasn't doing the job. this weekend, i wanted to die because i was so miserable.
i went to cvs on my way to work and the pharmacist told me that allegra is stronger than claritin d and it's not behind the counter.
then she told me that i should combine it with advil cold and sinus relief. this stuff is behind the counter and has pseudoephedrine (the meth ingredient... hence, what made me high). this was what fixed all my really nasty symptoms... sinus pressure, itchy burning eyes, and head ache.
she finally suggested an eye was for the sandy feeling in my eyes followed by allergy drops.
if you're sensitive, like me, please be careful. the advil stuff made my heart race a bit and i really was high. i will only be taking it once i'm already at the office... i don't want to drive soon after taking it.
now, it's the morning after... my eyes are slightly swollen and i have a very minor itch in my nose. i'm not feeling perfect, but i can manage. i'm going to wait until i'm in the office to decide if i'll take the advil stuff today.
as we all know, i know nothing about medicine... so please be careful... especially if you're sensitive and/or taking other medicine.

yes!
what i'm finding interesting is that i've been taking the stuff from behind the counter for years and the advil gave me the side effects of being "high"... i wonder if it's a stronger dose
