Gracie's new big girl room progress (pink pics)
I'm so happy b/c I didn't think this would get done before new baby gets here in 37 days!
DH ripped this room down to the studs in Feb. & then re-insulated & resheetrocked.
He put in the high hats last week & ran new electric & started painting the ceiling/walls. He then put up the wainscotting, base/chair/crown moldings (& those funky corner pieces that still need to be painted) & put up the ceiling fan & new switches/outlets.
My dad helped w/ the painting/patching this weekend. (He still has to paint the wainscotting & some of the moldings).
It's about 3/4 there...DH still has to work on redoing the closet; finishing the wainscotting & installing baseboard heat (he took out the radiator).
I'm psyched though. Gracie says, "It's cool!"
We used cumulus cloud (very light blue) on the ceiling & Sweet Taffy on the walls.
This was the office (Gracie's new bedrm) b4 the new sheetrock/windows were installed
First coat paint up, some window molding
Closet before
Highhat holes in/first coat paint ceiling
Corner molding up b4 paint
Wainscotting & wall paint
Close-up of corner/moldings/paint
Fan in, walls & ceiling
Getting there
Ceiling fan in, window moldings done, paint
