Graco Snug Ride or Peg Perego Primo Viaggio??
What have you ladies heard about these 2 car seats??
I know they are both supposed to be very safe. But there is a significant price difference and I need 2 of them.
Any feedback would be great!!

I dont know much about the Peg...we went with the Snug Ride since that is what was most reccommended to us. It also fits into the snap n go, and our stroller if we wanted to do the "travel system" thing.

I registered for the Graco Snugride and an extra base (which is only $40). The Snugride came recommended and it had a great writeup in Baby Bargains.

I registered for the Peg Perego, I just really liked it. Both were rated really well. I like the look of the Peg too

I will be honest. I had the Peg with my boys and I didn't love it. I HAD to have it, but found complaints. The biggest complaint I had was that the sun hood barely covered them if it was raining, sunny, or just trying to keep people out! From what I understand too, the snug ride holds the babies to a larger size as well. I have a snug ride waiting for the new baby.

I've researched these two. I ended up getting the Graco Snug Ride Infant Car Seat. It was HIGHLY rated in Baby Bargains and the price is GREAT. Because I registered for this seat I also registered for the Graco Snug Ride Frame. As far as the stroller goes I picked the Peg Perego P3.
Both are great. In your case since you have to buy two I would go with Graco.

I have the peg, and while i love the side impact on it, it is so juch heavier than the graco.

Graco Snug Ride. Although the Peg got good reviews the Graco got better reviews and it's cheaper.

same here and the snugride is a lot lighter

I read in the reviews, on BabiesRUS.com that the peg is significantly heavier - and that mothers didn't really recommend it.
So, I registered for the Graco. The lighter the better.. especially with a baby in it!

I also debated between these 2 car seats for awhile. I did a lot of research on both of them too. They both are safe. I finally decided on the Graco Snugride. It received great reviews in Consumer Reports and it is cheaper.
