Great inexpensive find!
Trader Joe's now has tomato paste in a tube for only $.99!!!!!!!
I love tubes of tomato paste because I never need a whole can, but the other ones I've seen were always over $5.
I'm so lame because this totally made my day on Saturday when I did my grocery shopping

Ooooh love that! Thanks! I always waste a can too. I was thinking to maybe freeze the rest in ice cube trays for when I need a spoonful or 2. Wonder if it would work. How long does the tube last after opened?

ha! i saw in their flyer they have tomoto paste in a tube and i was thrilled but i guess they were in hot damand b.c they were sold out. they said it was going to take few weeks to come back on the shelves. .99 is a great deal!!

Thanks for the info. Trying hard to move away from "can" anything and didn't know there was an alternative for paste. Good to know.

Awesome!
I get so annoyed too because all my recipes only call for a few Tablespoons full and then I feel like I have to store it and then it goes bad.

Good to know. I hate wasting the rest of the can. TJ's opens by me in September - can't wait! It will be 20 minutes away but worth the drive!
