great wolf lodge pa (food?)

any restaurant recs? especially chinese?

hey I grew up in the Poconos (my parents still live there). There is a brand new hibachi place that opened on 611 about 2miles past great wolf. My sister said it was really good. Go earlier though because it turns into a club at night and I am not sure what time. PBC is also good (right before the hibachi place), it is a microbrew, there is another microbrew called Barley Creek on your way up to camelback. Plus the buffet and the nicer restaurants in the Casino are good but a little pricey (also on 611 past the hibachi and the PBC). Across from the entrance of the Casino (again on 611) is a place called Big Daddy's it used to have really good food, but I haven't eaten there in a while. These are all north of great wolf.
If you go south on 611 in Bartonsville there are a bunch of chain restaurants (Red Robin, red Lobster, Sonic, etcc) and Smugglers Cove (in tannersville)which is yummy!
As you are only going for the weekend this should be more then enough! haha let me know where you end up. Enjoy, I hear Great wolf is beautiful!

awesome! thanks for all the great info! we went there last summer and loved it! we had a 2 yr old and 4 month old so we weren't too adventurous and just stayed in the hotel. this time we want to go out more (they're 1 and 3 now.)

We ordered in to the hotel from there. We just used the book they leave in the room. Ended up being so much cheaper and we had leftovers for lunch the next day.
