Is Great Wolf Lodge a good place for a 10 month old?
DH and I want to go away for a couple of nights in April. We really have no clue what would be good for us since DD will be 10 months old (what can she really appreciate?). Our friends may also join us who will have an 11 month old.
Would Great Wold Lodge be a good place? If not, any suggestions?? Thanks!

I've never been- but I went to Florida when DD was 7 months and we were in the pool a lot and she loved it- so I imagine that Great Wolf would be great since they have pools there and of course, they are family friendly- we might go too- it looks like a fun place.

I don't think it's a good place for an infant. My friend took her almost two year old and there wasn't a whole lot for him to do. DS is 9 and I took him a couple of years ago and we had a blast!

I went to the one in Lake George and all the kids had a wonderful time even dh & I. It was so relaxing. My youngest was 5mos old and in the kiddie area there are swings that you can put them in and it's in the water, also the water is so low in the kiddie are you can just sit down with dc and let him splash around. IMO I think you will all have fun.

your dc will be too young to enjoy it for the price they charge. we went to split rock resort with a 18 month and were fine. think they are cheaper and more accomodating for children.

We just went a month ago and I think it might be a bit of a waste for an 11 month old. My kids are old enough to enjoy all of the benefits of the resort. Yeah, you will enjoy hanging out in the pool, but you can do that for a lot less money somewhere else. It's not cheap there. Also, I found the water to be very strong with chemicals there. My kids all ended up with rashes from all the chlorine - it was that strong!
