Great Wolf or Kalahari?
We've never been to either places. Which is better and why?
We have 3 boys: ages 8, almost 5 and 2. So we would definitely need one of the bigger rooms/suites.
Thanks!

Re: Great Wolf or Kalahari?
Only been to Kalahari. I loved it. It's brand new, clean, and the water park is amazing. Great for kids- even little little ones. Your 2 year old will love the kid area - lots of slides for their size. So much fun.
And great for adults too- I had so much fun on some of the slides.
Loved the swim up and other bars in the water park area.
I'm not sure why but I get skeeved by Great Wolf. Too many reports of bed bugs and the rooms just seem a little skanky and run down for me.

Re: Great Wolf or Kalahari?
We've only been to Kalahari and we loved it. Mu kids are 4 and 2 and they had a blast. Like PP said it is clean and the little kid area is perfect for the 2 year old.
My brother and SIL were at Great Wolf back in May and she said that the rooms were not as clean as they were the last time they were there. They did not have any problems with bedbugs.

Great Wolf or Kalahari?
We go to Great Wolf every year for their Halloween stuff. It's a blast, and we never have a dirty room, OR have had bed bugs. There is so much to do outside of the waterpark, which is nice. Bowling, mini golf, ropes course, arts and crafts, magiquest (which the kids LOVE), story time with the characters, costume parade, trick or treating, dance party, etc. All in a beautiful wooden lodge. With that said, we aren't going back to the Poconos location this year because I didn't like how they dealt with a very noisy family with unattended kids above us. They have quiet hours that begin at 11, and this family had kids jumping off the bed, etc. while they were in another room. Ultimately we had to sleep in another room because they couldn't get them to be quiet *um threaten to throw them out?!*

Great Wolf or Kalahari?
We've been to both. We prefer Great Wolf due to the range of activities available. We do however, prefer the food at Kalahari. We've never seen bed bugs at Great Wolf, or had any problem with the room. This year we said we are going to Great Wolf, but will drive the 5 minutes up the road to Kalahari for dinner.
