Green Tea - how do you like it?

I just can't stand hot green tea. I love starbucks iced green tea lemonade but there's sugar and it's too expensive! So, how do you make your green tea to taste good?

I want to start drinking it for the health benefits! TIA!

I find that some brands of green tea are really good and some have absolutely zero taste. I just buy whatever is on sale. Right now I have a big box of Bromley pure green tea and it's not good. I sometimes add a little honey to it and it helps.

My favorite is America's Choice. I have tried so many and keep coming back. I drink it plain.

Jut an FYI you can get plain iced green tea from Starbucks. And tell them you want it unsweetened so they won't put sugar. I love it, but green tea is definitely and acquired taste!!

DH is a huge green tea fan. He has informed me that you need to have the right temp and timing for green tea. He also suggests that you buy Japanese (Sencha, I forget the name exactly) green tea and really pay attention to the brewing instructions. It's good it you make it well.

The only kind I like is mint green and even then I only like certain brands. DH drinks plain green tea and just adds some cranberry juice.

I love Starbucks Iced Green Tea. I drink it plain unsweetened.

They have flavored green tea. Mango, blueberry, peach etc. Really makes a big difference in taste. Just check out your supermarkets tea aisle.

I put a little sugar in the raw in mine or sometimes a touch of honey. Love green tea.

I drink room temperature water every day; b/c I can't stand it cold.

So if I don't want it hot; I will add the tea bag to my glass of "room temperature" water; and just let it steep. I still get the same benefits.

I use Organic Green Tea; Prince of Peace.

I love the Iced Green Tea at Panera but I can't buy it every day and like you said about Starbucks, there's a lot of sugar.

I bought a green tea from the food store. I'm a huge tea drinker but I'm not a huge fan of green tea hot either so I make it in the tea kettle then put it in a pitcher in the fridge. It's delicious!

I think I'll try some of these flavored green teas! I did have a mint green once at a spa and liked it.

love it, I have at least 2 cups a day, I like the Bigelow green tea with Lemon

My favorite is Bigelow Organic Green Tea and I drink it plain, no sugar. Every once in a blue moon I'll add agave nectar but not very often

I buy Trader Joes green tea bags. I like the hot plain green tea. I also make a big batch of it. I boil and add tea bags, then put it in the fridge and have it cold. I just add a lemon wedge.

I get a green tea frap at Starbucks sometimes. I get it unsweetened and with non-fat milk.

Stash premium green tea is amazing. I like the decaf and I just drink it with lemon.
I love the ginger lemon, too.

I picked up Stash Moroccon Mint Green tea and have been able to drink a cup of that a day. Hoping I find some other varieties as well!
