I am in Lynbrook - have friends that have sent their children there and are very happy. We moved here when ds was almost out of pre-k so didn't go there but probably would have. I have also heard nice things about Grace Playschool and Intercommunity - both are coops though. Feel free to ask any questions!! My youngest 2 are not in pre-k yet....

We are actually looking into Grace Playschool too. I was impressed with them. I was curious though about the Greis PArk one as well.
Where is Intercommunity?

I have also heard AMAZING things about Temple Emanuel in Lynbrook near the train. I know many people that go there that are not jewish - they are more neutral than anything.... They offer all sorts of different options - some people that work send their children there for ful-day but they most definitely offer a smaller program 1-2x a week. Great student/teacher ratio and great programs.

I grew up in Lynbrook and so did my father. My mother actually used to teach at Greis preschool. It is not as wonderful as it used to be and had friends pull their kids this year out of it. I went to temple Emanuel in Lynbrook for nursery and am not Jewish. My dd who is in Kindergarten now at Our Lady of Peace in Lynbrook. Their preschool is fantastic. We have heard such great things about t from her friends in school. My dd went to Holy Trinity in RVC for preschool and we love it dearly there. My 5month old dd will go to OLP when the time comes though. Any questions of other schools let me know
