DD is only 1, but I've already started my research and will be looking into:
Maplewood Pixie Wee Friends
Good luck!

Gene Formica, who was the owner of Carousel where the little girl choked and died, is also co-owner of Maplewood. Carousel was operating illegally, so, personally, I would be leary of sending my child to anyplace that he also owned.

Re: Pre-school in wantagh area to lynbrook
Most families in Wantagh go to Wee Friends, Maplewood or Pixie. My kids attend Wee Friends.
I know of one family near me that transferred from Wee Friends to St Elizabeth Ann Seton's 3yo program but I haven't caught up with her in a while to see what they thought of it.

I don't think Pixie has transportation, but I'm not totally sure of this.

Re: Pre-school in wantagh area to lynbrook
My son is in United Methodist in Bellmore. It is right behind Applebee's on Sunrise Highway. He is just finishing up the 3 year old program and I have been very happy with them. He does afternoons 12-230. They finish up this week so I'd call soon if you may be interested. They have extended day, enrichment classes and more to add on to the regular schedule. They are cheaper than Maplewood if price in an option. He does Wee Friends in Wantagh for camp. In my neighborhood, I hear alot about Merrick Woods/community(?), Twin Oaks (Freeport), JCC (Oceanside), Maplewood and Wee Friends.
