I have two questions..
1- Was Adele's baby the chief's baby too? didnt they break up a long time ago?
2- Was Christina crying tears of sadness or joy?? I was confused by her comment "Im free"
Good questions.
I was a little confussed abt the baby also.
And when Christina cried "I'm Free"...I actually laughed...because it was typical of her. But I wasn't expecting the break down.

i think the "im free" was to say that thats what she originally always wanted, but now that its here its not what she expected. the feeling of being alone and without burke is not what she wanted after all. at least thats what i got from it.
that was my feeling as well

I think that Merideths Dad told her once that her sister was like 6 years younger then her??? Not sure where I got that from....
Callie as Chief resident and George fails? I dont like that 
I KNEW that Richard would stay as Chief of Surgery.....

I could be totally and completely wrong here, but for some reason I thought I remembered Meredith's father saying that one of his daughters was super smart, in med school/college early or something?

Here's my question. To me, it always seemed that Meredith's parents were still together while Meredith was 6 or 7 or 8 or whatever...
How is it that her dad and step mom have a daughter that it only one year behind Meredith in school/residancy?
maybe he had a baby with the mistress (new wife) while still married to merediths mom?
The way it had been presented was that her dad hung around for a while while Meredith's mom screwed around with the chief THAN he left her and met his wife.

No, I remember him talking about one of the daughters too, Im getting confused as far as what was said now too......
WAIT...Who heard and WHERE that george was leaving the show??????? Why would he do that and I thought it was PRESTON who was leaving the show after all the "drama" between him and George in real life?

yea, i'm sure they'll continue this whole love triangle between him and callie and izzy. its too good to just drop. but to have him start all over again!  ...maybe he'll drop both izzy and callie and go for merediths sister!

The thing with Meredith's sister is like this. Meredith took time off after college and before going to med school. So she is older than the typical intern. She went off to Europe for a while. I remember she told her mom about it in one episode. That is why her sister is right behind her in med school.

OMG!! I was crying so bad when Christina lost it. She did a great job!
I am so sick of Meredith!!!!!!!!! UGH!
When George said he failed, my heart broke for him. I adore him!
And I was so addicted to the Alex/Ava storyline that I was talking to the tv when he walked away from her. I wanted them together so bad.
I thought it was a really good episode! And now I am upset we have to wait so long to find out what happens

Burke and Christina are done
Alex and Ava are a no go
Addison is miserable and can't have kids
George failed
Izzy can't have George
I mean REALLY... cant the producers give us ONE glimmer of happiness

Meredith's sister is def. going to cause some major drama....aren't there any other hospitals around there for people to work in?!
I liked the Christina/Meredith scene with the wedding dress - but did it remind anyone else of the Sex and teh City scene where Carrie freaks out when she is trying on dresses and Miranda needs to rip the dress off of her? I feel like they copied that a little bit.
Meredith should lose McDreamy - she was such a b!tch!

I'm still pretty new to the show. I can't believe they squashed just about every story line.
Nice catch that Lexi was the woman at the bar! Does Lexi know about Meredith?
Contrast how depressing this ending was with how sunny and hopeful they make Addison's spin-off look!

Last night's episode was depressing... Everyone is miserable.
I had no idea Meredith had a sister... wouldn't the sister know Meredith worked in that hospital? Why would she choose the same hospital as her estranged sister to work at...
Her being in the one in the bar - that makes sense now, remember when she told Derek she'd had a bad day?
The only ones who left happy were they gay guys from the bar. Although probably next season the girl will decide to give the babies to the other couple. Then they can be miserable too.

I'm a little shocked that Lexi wouldn't know she had a sister, but I do remember her dad mentioning when he was their for the one prego daughter that they didn't know Meredith was their sister.
Seattle Grace is supposed to be the best teaching hospital, which Baily mentioned to George when she found out he was looking for a position in another hosp., so it's no surprise that Lexi would end up there..
Christina is a GREAT breaker-downer... it got me all upset and teary. As much as I can't stand Meredith I LOOOOOVE and can relate to the friendship she has with Christina... she's her person
