Grieving Taxes Question
I' d like to grieve my taxes but I have an addition on my house that I have not filed through the town for. Therefore, I'm not paying taxes on it. If I file a grievance, will the town pick up on it or is their way to do it w/out them finding out? I did apply for permits but never got the final inspection to get the CO to avoid the insane tax increase. TIA

Re: Grieving Taxes Question
I'm not positive on how that would work with a whole new addition, but I have heard that they supposedly can't raise your taxes with grieving them, they can only just say no to a grievance and then keep them the same.

Re: Grieving Taxes Question
it's moot for the next tax period. The deadline passed.
