Grind and Brew Coffee Machine - Question
For those that have the Cuisinart Grind and Brew:
Do you find that the coffee grinds stick in the grinder part and clog it up?
I feel like I use A LOT more beans than when I had a separate drip machine and grinder.
Do you fully wash the grinder, carafe, and gold fiter with each use? Sometimes I skip the grinder and wash the other parts, is this why it is building up? I feel like I am wasting so much coffee and sometimes it comes out weak.
How often do you change the water filter?

Re: Grind and Brew Coffee Machine - Question
The part where the beans go to be ground up gets really caked and we do clean it from time to time. When we do, it takes a while because we do the best job we can and get in there with whatever will fit - fork, chopsticks even. That's when I find the coffee getting weak - when that part is clogged.
We only use water that's already filtered in our Britta pitchers, so we've never replaced the internal filter.

I have the same machine, the grinds do get stuck but it's not so bad that it gets clogged. The directions say to wash the grinder every time so I do. Maybe that's why there isn't so much of a build up in mine? Oh, and I also do wash each part each time I use the machine.
