Grooming a kitty
I have a longhair male who is big and strong and won't let me cut his nails more than a few and then squirms out of my arms. He also needs a grooming. He is a maine coon mix and has very fluffy fur.
I live in Bethpage. I don't want to get him a lion cut or anything but just get him all handsome and get his nails clipped.
Any suggestions?

Re: Grooming a kitty
I have taken my boy to Petco, for a thorough grooming. But not all the Petco and Petsmarts will groom a kitty, that's the problem.
I also took him to the City once.. and I think they did the best job.. gave him nice trim, bath and trimmed his nails down as well.

Re: Grooming a kitty
Definitely need local. Izzy is a little skittish and the car trip would make him more agitated.

Re: Grooming a kitty
The vet in Levittown at the North Village Green, did a fantastic job. I don't live in the area any more and I miss them. I think I will go back. From what I remember it was affordable too.
