what is the best way to get rid of mold? it's in the crevice (not sure what it's called) between the screen on the window and the window itself Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

we live in an apt complex - should I call to have them take care of it? clearly there is an issue with rain water getting in there!

update - DH came home from work and said it's moss, not mold. buying bleach tomorrow!

Re: GROSS! We have a mold issue

we just demolded the bunk room on the boat. TOTALLY gross. I used Moldex I got at Home Depot, bleach n water and scrubbed it. It will keep returning until the source is found and stopped but the stuff I used killed it Chat Icon

Tilex has always worked for me with that stuff (used to happen at my parent's house all the time with their old windows & screens). The Tilex has enough bleach in it to get rid of it, though you may need to scrub it a bit with an old toothbrush. GL!
