groupon or living social trip deals?
Anyone use these with success or is it not worth it?

I am really wary of them for a number of reasons.
That having been said I have done one. I did a special package at the Woolverton Inn and it was really nice. Exactly as advertised. We loved it. I am always looking at deals but I don't think I could bring myself to take a chance on one that's out of the country, etc.

We've had bad experiences because of blackout dates. I bought 2 - Great Wolf and Landsdowne Resort in VA. The time period was short so I ended up with just a resort credit the amount that I paid.
I stopped buying these things for places that are not local because it becomes more of a burden than a bargain. I am not a fan.

Depends I agree I. Prob wouldn't do out of the country ones but I have friends have have done dc and Pennsylvania and had an amazing time
