Growing Follicles Prayers Please BUMPED W/ UPDATE AT BOTTOM
Going today for another internal sono and bloodwork to see how the follicles are growing.
Sunday my estrogen levels were still going up and the follicles were growing slowly.
Please send some prayers for growing follicles.

Thanks i am back already. Now the left ovaries are catching up and I have had some growth since Sunday. I am starting to get frustrated b/c I am responding so slowly to the clomid (i have pcos) the doc said there is still time to grow though so i am hanging onto hope.

estrogen is still going up i was 75 on Sunday and i am 100 today and Sunday I had 2 follicles and today they counted 5 so something is going on in there lol. I just wish I wasn't responding sooo slowly but i guess slower is better than nothing at all.

Are you doing IUI or IVF? I thought IUI. 5 is very good for IUI, and you wouldn't want more than that. Now we just need them to grow. Grow GROW!!!!!!!!

I'm also a slow grower. Some people just take time. They will grow. It just takes awhile. Hang in there

my RE has me on clomid....when do they start monitoring your levels? should that be done already??? am i missing something

I am doing IUI my doc said I could go the natural way w/ just the clomid but he said w/ the IUI it kind of takes some of the guesswork out of it.

They should start monitoring around CD12 I think. Correct me if i'm wrong, ladies.
I don't know if my doctor is insane or not...but they usually start monitoring me around CD8, usually...5 days of stimming...but that doesn't mean anything about Clomid, I'm doing injectables.
CD12 might be a little late because some people actually ovulate around that time...If I recall correctly, my doctor usually had me come in for blood/sono around CD9 -- I think. Who can remember, it was so long ago!

Even if you have 3 by the time they are done growing, that's great too. They may not like doing an IUI, especially if its a first time, with 5 mature follies...So just hope that you have 3!
