Growing question....

OK so I bought a few fall outfits for DD in size 12 -18 months from Children's Place and Old Navy.

Two weeks ago at her 9 1/2 month well visit she was 22lbs and 29 3/4 inches. Both CP and ON say 12 - 18 months is 22 - 26 lbs and up to 31 inches.

I'm not too concerned with weight, more lenth. She only has an inch left. These clothes look really long though. Should I return them and/or start buying 18 - 24 months?

I mean how long does it take to grow an inch at 10 monthsChat Icon

Re: Growing question....

are you sure she was 39" - thats extremely tall for a 9 month old. Maybe they wrote it down wrong?

eta: I think you meant 29". I'd keep the sizes you have.

I never go by the heights. I always find them inaccurate for my DS. He is over 32 inches and the 18 months are still way too long!

I would try them on her and see how long they are on her. WIth pants I think it is misleading because it all depends on how long her legs are relative to the rest of her body. If she has a longer torso then pant legs need to be shorter etc. KWIM?
