Growing up did your parents
call eachother " Mom" & "Dad" or by their first names, or something else ?

they never call each other by their names..
It was "Hun" or "Sweetie" back/forth ...
When I was realllllly little, I had no idea what "Hun" referred to and I swear I thought that they both didn't have a REAL name  (hey I was like 4!)
ooh to add: WHen referring to each other in talking to me - my Mom will say "Pop said this" and Dad will say "YOUR MOTHER" did that

They had to call each mom and dad as soon I started talking because I'd call my dad "Joe" all the time.
But it became such a habit with them that sometimes my dad still calls my mom "Mommy" when talking to me.

there name- or my Dad had a nick mane for my Mom- biddes ( not sure how to spell)
but my Grandma mother called my Grandpa "Daddy" and she is called "sister" by her siblings and all of there childern
I was pretty confused when I answered the phone at her house- and was called sister- is sister there-

My mom always called him "Vince" when she was serious about something or he was in trouble, other than that, she called him Daddy or Papa Bear
He always called her Mag (maggie) or Momma. :)

My parents called eachother mom or dad or by similar nicknames to sweetie, hunny, etc.
I remember when I first found out their real first names I was so shocked

Same here - but that's when referring to them. When they talk to each other, they use their first names.
I do the same unless I'm talking to him & want the kids to overhear, ie to get them to eat more food or something.

My parents were together until I was 7 and they called each other by their first names in front of us kids. Now when they are referring to each other while talking to me they say mommy and daddy stilllllll

my dad has always called my mom "El" short for Ellen and I have NEVER EVER heard my mom call my dad by his first name she always calls him "hon"

It would usually be mom or dad...go ask mom/dad - give this to mom - go call dad for dinner. But when they talk specifically to each other it would be by first name...or hun.

Mine too!!!
But I always referred to them as mom and dad. I don't think I've called my dad "daddy" since I was really little or my mom "mommy" for that matter.
